CCK offered a great alternative to the “babysitting” services otherwise available in 1975 when I help found the Center.
CCK offers a high quality child development program conducted by a well-trained and experienced staff rather than babysitting services provided by caregivers typically lacking any formal child care credentials.
Center staff interacted with my wife and I on a daily basis and kept us fully apprised of our children’s progress or any issues affecting that progress. The staff was always eager to respond to any questions we might have concerning Lee’s or Cara’s development and any health or other issues.
Our children –first our son, Lee, then later our daughter, Cara – received excellent developmental training provided by a professionally trained, experienced and dedicated CCK staff rather than mere babysitting services. Also, the operational hours and days of the Center were very convenient.
The Center has a history of hiring and retaining staff skilled at interacting with young children in a way that promotes their developmental maturity and self esteem.

I knew from the first moment I thought about sending my children to daycare that CCK was the place. I have a long history with CCK (I went to CCK as a child) and have the utmost trust in this top-rated facility. Continue reading →

The staff turnover ratio seems very low. In fact, Ms. Joyce in Infant 1 kept me as an infant and 23 yrs later kept my son! I think that says a lot about the dedication of these teachers. You also can’t forget the smiling face of Ms. Betty, the cook, everyday as you walk in to the daycare!
The door is always open. Aside from the bi-annual conferences, you can set aside time to talk to the teachers anytime. I always feel updated on how my child is doing.
My oldest son was extremely prepared for kindergarten when he graduated from CCK. All of the teachers have a part in building the confidence of your child(ren). I also love the diversity of the daycare and think that my kids are blessed by having a diverse group of friends.
The staff is excellent at CCK! I love that each teacher brings something different to the table. The children truly look up to their teachers. My younger son goes down the hall every day and gives hugs to all of the teachers he sees!
There is no better place to send your kids! It is definitely a worthwhile investment!
I would tell any prospective parent that they couldn’t find a better, family-oriented nurturing environment for your child than the CCK. The staff loves each child so much and it’s comforting knowing your most precious gift is in good hands as you go about your day. Continue reading →
CCK came highly recommended to us because of the caring, nurturing atmosphere, the diverse culture and curriculum taught to the children. We wanted our child to be well-rounded.
I think the teachers set CCK apart from other programs because they truly care for the children. They are vigilant in following each child’s development and are ready and willing to help in any way they can.
Parents are always invited to sit in on classes, volunteer, or be involved on whatever level is appropriate for the class. As a parent, I enjoy helping out with parties, field trips or whatever the teachers need.
Our journey with CCK has been filled with so much love. It was the caring teachers there who helped us realize that our son may have a learning disability at the tender age of 2, which we later found out was Autism. During this difficult diagnosis the CCK encircled us, as families do, and we all moved forward to finding ways to communicate with, include, and educate our precious child. We are truly thankful for this family, the effort the teachers all put forth and for the support we received.
Love, playing with friends and respect.
Children are treated with respect and as they learn they have lots of fun. It is always nice to hear children telling parents about the fun adventures they had during the day and the memories they made.
